Role and responsibilities

• Build responsive, scalable web design which is optimized for web applications as well as smartphones.
• For Lead positions, Leadership qualities are a Must. Should be able to lead technically and manage individual workload for team of UI developers.
• Develop new features using React and optimize existing UI designs by migrating Backbone JS code to React.
• Ensure code is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices or operating systems.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Backend Engineers to implement front end solutions.
• Able to solve problems independently, taking ownership of the applications you work on.
• Well versed with JIRA Agile project development – Sprint or Kanban

Technical skills requirements

• Must have 6-9 years of strong experience developing applications using React framework, Redux store and Backbone JS.
• Must have strong working experience in JavaScript/ES6, jQuery, CSS3, HTML5
• Must have good understanding on REST APIs and its usage.
• Good experience in UI Development with ability to deliver the needed UI design and functionality to stakeholders.
• Experience in UI Prototyping and Responsive Design.
• Ability to write highly reusable and scalable code for UI components.
• Should have excellent debugging and analytical reasoning skill.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skill with ability to put up thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
• Should be able to understand the requirements on the field and come up with effective design and solutions.
• Product Life Cycle knowledge
• Working knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies
