Position Summary:
Join us as an intern and get hands-on experience in driving revenue growth and building client relationships. Work closely with our sales team, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to achieving sales targets. This role provides exposure to various aspects of B2B sales and business development, setting the stage for a successful career.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients and target markets for our products/services.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to understand trends and sales opportunities.
- Assist in outbound prospecting through activities like cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
- Convert leads into prospects and nurture them through the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate on sales strategies and campaigns with the team to attract and engage prospects.
- Fix and coordinate client meetings with the sales head, ensuring seamless scheduling.
- Accompany the sales head for client meetings, providing support and learning from experienced professionals.
- Send detailed Meeting Minutes (MoMs) after client meetings, summarizing key discussions and action items.
- Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and collateral materials to effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.
- Analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Stay informed about industry developments, market dynamics, and competitive insights to shape sales strategies.
Candidates Must Have:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written as well as oratory).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks.
- Strong presentation and documentation skills.
- Self motivated, knack of people connect, high energy and positive attitude.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail for effective data interpretation.
- Willing to go out in the field to meet clients, and open for travel.
- Willingness to make cold calls for B2B business for lead conversion.
- Previous sales, business development, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
Duration and Compensation: This is a full-time internship position for a duration of 6 months with the potential for permanent placement based upon performance. The internship may be eligible for academic credit, subject to your institution’s guidelines. Compensation will include a stipend, to be discussed during the interview process.
